Job summary

Think Power Solutions seeks a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects. You will ensure safety, adherence to contract terms, and conformance with design specifications on upgrades and new substations.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of transmission line and substation experience, knowledge of utility industry practices, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required; valid US work eligibility is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 6+ years of transmission line and substation work experience.
• Experience in the utility industry preferred.
• Compliance management experience is a plus.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor safety, schedule, and design specifications across projects from upgrades to substations.
• Identify issues impacting timelines and quality; assist in resolving them.
• Provide guidance on applying engineering drawings to construction.
• Mentor and train junior Transmission Construction Representatives.
