Job summary

Think Power Solutions is seeking a seasoned Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects. You will ensure work meets safety, schedule, and design standards, including substation upgrades and new substations, while guiding field teams and coordinating with design personnel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in construction management or engineering is a plus.
• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required.
• Experience working in the utility industry is highly preferred.
• Compliance management experience is a plus.
• Proficient at using a computer, iPad and Microsoft Office products.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must currently be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance on electric transmission system construction projects.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to design specifications.
• Manage projects including substation upgrades and new substations.
• Identify risks such as design flaws, material shortages, and access challenges.
• Assist in resolving issues to maintain timelines, quality, and safety.
• Interpret engineering drawings and guide their application to construction.
• Ensure compliance with Owner construction standards and safety terms.
• Perform duties independently while demonstrating leadership and expertise.
• Mentor and train lower-level Transmission Construction Representatives.
