Job summary

Think Power Solutions is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative (TCR) to oversee contractor performance on the owner's electric transmission system, including substations upgrades and new substations, ensuring safety and compliance with design specs. You will interpret engineering drawings, ensure adherence to construction standards, and mentor junior staff while managing multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required.
• Experience working in the utility industry is highly preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient at using a computer, iPad and Microsoft Office products.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must currently be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance and compliance with contract terms on electric transmission projects.
• Monitor safety, schedule adherence, and design specification compliance.
• Manage projects including substation upgrades and new substations.
• Identify issues impacting timelines, quality, and safety.
• Assist in resolving issues to maintain timelines and standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings for construction applications.
• Mentor and train junior Transmission Construction Representatives.
