Job summary

Think Power Solutions seeks a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms, safety, and design specifications across upgrades and new substations.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license are essential, with experience in the utility sector preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required.
• Experience in the utility industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills; leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance to ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor safe completion of work per design specs and safety standards.
• Manage projects including substation upgrades and new substations.
• Interpret drawings and guide their application in construction.
• Mentor and train lower-level Transmission Construction Representatives (TCR).
• Identify issues (design flaws, material shortages, access, and customer concerns) and assist resolution.
