Job summary

Think Power Solutions is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance on electrical transmission projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and design conformance. You will manage substation upgrades and new substations, interpreting drawings and enforcing standards.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of transmission line/substation experience, an associate degree in construction management or engineering, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating effectively with contractors and internal teams.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and site procedures.
• Willingness to travel and oversee multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor safe completion of work and alignment with design specs.
• Manage projects from substation upgrades to new substations construction.
• Identify issues affecting timelines, quality, and safety; help resolve them.
• Interpret engineering drawings and guide their application in construction.
• Mentor lower-level Transmission Construction Representatives.
