Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Scheduling Manager to lead the Scheduling department, support schedulers and trip editors, and ensure efficient paratransit scheduling.

You will analyze performance data, develop run cuts, coordinate with subcontractors, and improve on-time performance; lead daily scheduling operations and support the customer subscription process. Requires transit operations experience and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Management, or related field; minimum five years scheduling experience.
• Experience supervising a scheduling team.
• Proficiency with Trapeze and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports, performance indicators, and system data to support informed decision-making and improve service delivery.
• Provide scheduling data to support development of operator shift schedules.
• Develop and evaluate performance standards to measure scheduling efficiency.
• Recommend daily schedule adjustments to support on-time performance.
• Prepare and distribute scheduling reports and system statistics.
• Coordinate with subcontracted service providers regarding schedules and on-time performance.
• Oversee daily scheduling team operations and conduct performance reviews.
• Review template schedules and subscription ride services to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with service requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
