Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in transit scheduling, service planning, or related field.
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable; additional education cannot substitute for experience.
• Background check and valid Arizona driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, review, and implementation of vehicle and crew schedules in HASTUS.
• Analyze scheduling data, field research, and determine service improvements for system performance.
• Prepare and disseminate scheduling reports; manage annual service calendar and budget-mile info with Finance.
• Lead scheduling projects and coordinate with operators, contractors, and internal departments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Schedule Planners and interns.
• Lead inter-departmental and inter-agency service change processes.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
