Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Scheduling Manager responsible for leading the Scheduling department, supporting Schedulers and Trip Editors, creating schedules, ensuring coverage, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficient scheduling of paratransit trips.

The role also focuses on implementing and maintaining a customer subscription process, coordinating with agency partners, analyzing operator run cuts, and driving on-time performance through scheduling improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of transportation scheduling experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of run-time methods and route scheduling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports and system data to improve service delivery and decision making.
• Provide scheduling data to develop and maintain operator shift schedules for each bid.
• Develop performance standards and implement scheduling improvements.
• Adjust daily schedules to support on-time performance and productivity goals.
• Prepare and distribute scheduling reports and conduct ad hoc analyses.
• Coordinate with subcontracted providers on daily schedules and performance.
• Oversee scheduling team operations and conduct performance reviews.
• Review templates and subscription services for accuracy and efficiency.
