Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, oversee, and enforce safety compliance for our transit program. You will oversee DOT/OSHA/CAL-OSHA regulations and prepare our workforce to meet client needs.

The role includes designing and delivering training for transportation personnel, supervising driver trainers, managing safety reporting, and leading on-scene investigations of incidents. A Class B with passenger license and 3–5 years in training in transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3–5 years as a trainer in transportation preferred.
• Class B with passenger license required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/OSHA/CAL-OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, develop and implement training programs for transportation personnel.
• Supervise driver trainers and establish performance standards.
• Oversee driver training and testing to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage safety reporting and compliance with corporate policies.
