Job summary

WeDriveU, a leader in shared mobility solutions, seeks a Safety Manager to develop and enforce safety compliance across our transit program in Illinois. You will oversee DOT/OSHA/CAL-OSHA regulations and prepare the workforce for client requirements, leading training and audits with a focus on risk reduction.

Responsibilities include designing training, supervising driver trainers, conducting on-site investigations, and maintaining the company's drug/alcohol testing programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• CDL B with Passenger endorsement required or preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory/training experience in transportation is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and transportation-related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, develop and implement training programs for transportation personnel.
• Supervise driver trainers and establish objectives, standards, and schedules.
• Recruit and train drivers to become qualified drivers.
• Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training and conduct evaluations.
• Administer drug/alcohol testing programs in coordination with the corporate office.
