Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an Operations Manager who will provide leadership and direction to the designated operating location to ensure delivery of annual business plans. The role involves controlling the daily operation of our transportation contract in compliance with contracting agency policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in a paratransit environment.
• Experience in scheduling and personnel management and training.
• Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations.
• Knowledge of company policy and driver activity measures.
• Trapeze experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily operations at the assigned location to meet annual plans.
• Oversee on-time performance and driver availability.
• Manage call center operations.
• Maintain customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs.
• Identify, train and mentor location staff.
• Communicate frequently with location staff and support teams.
• Support safety and training programs to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain safety culture and client contact.
• Conduct audits and review key operational metrics.
• Implement policies and participate in labor relations activities.
