Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Inc is seeking a Transit Supervisor to supervise operators, monitor performance, and ensure safety and courteous service. You will enforce policies, coordinate detours, and report incidents while maintaining on-time performance and coordination with Dispatch.

Requirements include a CDL with endorsements, a relevant associate degree, and 5 years in transit with 2 years supervisory experience, plus DOT medical and random drug testing compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
• Five years of professional transit/related experience with at least one year as a bus operator.
• Two years in positions with extensive customer service experience; two years in transportation supervision.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements; clean driving record.
• Must obtain CDL within 90 days of hire and pass DOT medical exam and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operator performance, enforce rules and safety standards.
• Monitor fixed-route operations for on-time performance and safety; adjust as needed.
• Coordinate bus services and detours; inform management of issues.
• Investigate customer complaints and act as liaison with public.
• Prepare incident and service condition reports and collaborate with dispatch.
