Job summary

Via is seeking a Road Supervisor to oversee service operations for Rochester Public Transit in Rochester, MN. This full-time, in-person role requires 40–45 hours per week with 8–9 hour shifts and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

You will supervise drivers, train staff, resolve customer issues, and manage incidents to ensure safety and high-quality service. A CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a clean record are mandatory; some driving may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation services with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Hold a valid CDL and Passenger Endorsement with a clean driving record.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee driver performance and service quality.
• Develop and implement driver training programs.
• Handle customer service issues to promote satisfaction.
• Prioritize operational issues as main point of contact and resolve problems.
• Go to scenes of incidents to manage processes and protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
