Job summary

WeDriveU is recruiting a Road Supervisor in Rochester, NY to coordinate between Operations and Safety and ensure service compliance and efficiency. You will supervise operators, coach on safety, monitor performance, and maintain clear reporting lines to the Safety Manager.

The role requires a CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, plus 5+ years in Operations with 3 in transit; open availability and a Monday–Friday 11:00am–7:30pm shift are expected.

Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements required.
• Open availability; flexible schedule.
• Minimum 5 years in Operations; 3 years in transit preferred (college may substitute for up to 2 years).
• Experience in safety training and familiarity with NYSDOT, NY DMV and FMCSA rules preferred.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of operators to ensure safe bus operations.
• Provide guidance to operators on issues and escalate when needed.
• Promote a positive work environment and adherence to company values.
• Monitor on-time performance and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with policies; coordinate with Operations Manager.
