Job summary

Via is hiring a Road Supervisor to oversee driver performance, train drivers, and support riders. The role may require stepping in as an Operator to uphold exceptional customer service in Tulare, CA. This is a full-time, shift-based, in-person position.

Responsibilities include coaching drivers, developing training programs, resolving customer issues, and leading incident response while ensuring safety and code compliance for lift-equipped vehicles used to transport elderly and disabled riders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in transportation services or similar field.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Must be 25 years or older and able to meet background checks.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficient with basic tablet/office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise driver performance, coach for service quality and safety.
• Develop and deliver training programs for new hires and ongoing staff.
• Handle customer service issues, resolve complaints effectively.
• Prioritize real-time operational issues as the primary contact.
• Attend incidents on scene and manage processes per protocols.
• Collaborate with teams to scale operations and tools.
• Safely operate lift-equipped vehicles for riders with accessibility needs.
• Perform routine pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
