Job summary

Park City Transit seeks a Transit Shift Supervisor to oversee a team of Transit Operators and Dispatchers, assisting the Transit Manager with projects for safe and efficient operation of the Transit System.

Responsibilities include directing staff performance, ensuring policy compliance, coordinating special services, and preparing run bids and incident reports, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain City National Incident Management System Certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class B Utah Commercial Driver's License with air brake and passenger endorsements.
• 4 years of supervisory experience in the transit industry.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises and evaluates performance of Transit Operators and Dispatchers.
• Delivers performance management to maximize job performance in partnership with Transit Leadership.
• Ensures compliance with city policies, SOPs and regulations.
• Coordinates Change Day and prepares bid materials and dissemination information.
• Investigates complaints and ensures compliance with ADA, EEO, DBE, DOT, FMLA and FTA requirements.
• Oversees records, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, pre-trip inspections and passenger counts.
