Job summary

Clark County Public Transportation Benefit Area is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee all transit service, supervise Operators and contracted staff, and ensure safety and schedule adherence. The role includes dispatch duties, incident investigations, detours, and coordinating with maintenance and management teams.

The position requires strong supervisory experience, excellent customer service, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least three years of supervisory experience in a transit or similar operation.
• Strong customer service skills and written/oral communication abilities.
• Ability to work with dispatch systems and transportation staff under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise transit service and on-street operations for Operators and security staff.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily work assignments to maximize resources.
• Investigate incidents, manage detours, and respond to customer comments.
• Supervise dispatch activities and coordinate with maintenance and management.
