Job summary

Park City Municipal Corporation is seeking a Transit Shift Supervisor to supervise a team of Transit Operators and Dispatchers and to assist the Transit Manager with projects for safe, efficient operation of the Transit System.

The role requires leadership, compliance with ADA/EEO/FTA requirements, and hands-on coordination of schedules, detours, and performance. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for guiding daily operations and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• City National Incident Management System Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class B Utah CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements
• 4 years of supervisory experience in the transit industry
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field
• Preferred: knowledge of automotive and diesel operations

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and evaluate Transit Operators and Dispatchers and provide performance management.
• Ensure compliance with city and departmental policies and SOPs.
• Provide visibility and support for Operators and customers; identify and solve schedule and safety issues.
• Develop partnerships across departments to foster a positive work environment.
• Prepare run-bid materials and coordinate Change-Day activities.
• Investigate complaints and document incidents using video management systems.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, EEO, DBE, DOT, FMLA, and FTA regulations.
• Oversee transit records, vehicle usage, fuel, inspections, scheduling, and passenger counts.
• Be available as a first responder during major events and emergencies.
