Via Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Transit Manager to lead daily onsite operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders while collaborating with city partners.

Based in Prescott, AZ, the role requires 4–5 days onsite with 2–3 days travel to Prescott as needed, taking ownership of fleet, driver supply, and service performance using data and frontline leadership.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.
• Relationship oriented, earning trust from drivers, riders, teammates, and city partners through clear communication and follow-through.
• Hands-on and proactive, preferring to be in the field and solving problems where they happen.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily onsite operations of our service to provide riders with safe, reliable transportation.
• Make informed, real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and issues to maintain service.
• Guide and support drivers, building strong relationships and ensuring they feel equipped to deliver great service.
• Turn rider and community feedback into tangible improvements and collaborate with internal teams for actionable changes.
• Use data and technology to understand service performance, diagnose problems, and implement efficiency measures.
• Act as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, and Via central teams to align goals.
