Job summary

OATS Transit in Missouri is hiring drivers for mini-vans, Ford Transits or wide-body buses to serve seniors, individuals with disabilities and the rural public. This non-exempt, hourly role focuses on safety, respect and reliable rider service.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, use an in-vehicle tablet, complete required paperwork and attend training. Candidates must be 23+, hold a valid CDL or Class E with <=4 points, pass DOT and drug tests, and be bondable. OATS offers generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL or Class E license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and participate in random testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Must operate a vehicle tablet and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicle and transport riders with respect.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Assist riders on/off the bus and secure mobility devices.
• Complete required paperwork and submit timely.
• Adhere to all federal/state rules and company policies.
