Job summary

OATS Transit is seeking drivers to serve seniors and individuals with disabilities across Missouri. The role involves operating mini-vans, Ford Transits or buses, assisting riders, and ensuring safe, courteous service in all interactions.

Drivers will perform vehicle inspections, use a tablet for trip details, and complete required paperwork. The position is non-exempt, hourly, with variable hours and a strong emphasis on safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be 23+ years old.
• CDL license with no more than 4 points.
• Pass DOT physical and road test.
• Pass drug screening, with random testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Ability to use a vehicle mounted tablet/computer.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the vehicle with courtesy and respect.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices, follow procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Complete required paperwork and submit timely to regional office.
• Attend routine paid training and follow all rules and regulations.
