Job summary

OATS, Inc. is hiring drivers across Missouri to operate mini-vans and buses. You will ensure rider safety, assist with boarding, secure wheelchairs, and perform daily vehicle inspections while keeping up with required paperwork.

The role uses an in-vehicle tablet for trip details and timing, with routine paid training and strict adherence to regulations. The position demands a CDL/Class E license, clean driving record, and physical stamina for demanding routes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL Class E license with ≤4 points required.
• Must pass US DOT physical and road test.
• Drug screening and random testing required.
• Bondable status required.
• Experience with computer tablets a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and safety.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good condition.
• Complete paperwork and submit timely to regional office.
• Use in-vehicle tablet to receive trip information.
• Attend routine paid training and comply with regulations.
