Job summary

OATS Transit is seeking drivers to serve seniors, individuals with disabilities and the rural public in Missouri. You will operate mini-vans, Ford Transits or a wide body bus, assist riders on and off the vehicle, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position with variable hours. Required: 23+ years old, CDL or Class E license with ≤4 points, ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests, be bondable, and comfortable using a vehicle tablet for trip information and

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 23 years of age.
• CDL or Class E license required with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and undergo random testing.
• Must be bondable and able to use a vehicle tablet for trip updates.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicle (mini-van, Ford Transit, or wide body bus) safely.
• Assist riders on and off the bus with dignity and courtesy.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good repair; manage paperwork timely.
