Job summary

OATS Transit, a Missouri-based nonprofit transportation provider, is hiring drivers for minis, vans, and wide-body buses. You will assist riders, secure mobility devices, and ensure safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicles.

The role requires a Class E or CDL with up to 4 points, DOT physical, drug testing, and bondability. It involves physical activity and independent work, with paid training and comprehensive benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Class E or CDL license required with <=4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Must be bondable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices per procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep of equipment.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office promptly.
• Attend routine paid training and follow all rules and regulations.
