OATS Transit is hiring drivers across Missouri for non-exempt, hourly roles operating mini-vans, Ford Transits or a wide-body bus. Duties include assisting riders, securing mobility devices, and maintaining vehicles. A computer tablet is used in-vehicle for trip details and reporting.

Applicants must be 23+, hold CDL/Class E with <=4 points, pass DOT physical and drug tests, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive benefits follow after onboarding.

Formación

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL/Class E license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Bondable.
• Experience with in-vehicle computer tablet is a plus.
• Flexible to adjust to different schedules and routes.
• Neat, organized and able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Treat riders with respect, dignity and courtesy; assist riders on and off the bus.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices and follow procedures.
• Maintain excellent condition and cleanliness of assigned vehicle and equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip info, updates and pickup/drop-off validation.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office timely.
• Attend routine paid training.
• Comply with federal/state/company rules and regulations.
