Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects. You will manage federated models, ensure clash-free designs, and uphold BIM standards across offices, while mentoring junior staff and interfacing with clients and agencies.

Applicants should have extensive experience with Autodesk tools (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and Bentley workflows, and be willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 12 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in cross-discipline modeling for transit/multimodal projects.
• Travel domestically or internationally as project demands require.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, structures, roadway, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve issues across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Coordinate model delivery requirements with clients and agencies.
