Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline BIM coordination for transit and multimodal projects in the US. You will integrate models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash-checked deliverable.

You will establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, mentor staff across geographies, and ensure model health and interoperability with Autodesk and Bentley tools throughout the project

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff across offices to build a repeatable capability.
• Ensure model integrity, health, and interoperability across Autodesk/Bentley tools.
• Review manufacturer/fabricator prints for design accuracy.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOE and deliverable scoping.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on deliverable requirements.
