Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator in the US. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, and MEP, perform clash detection in Navisworks, and enforce BIM standards. You will mentor junior staff and liaise with clients and subconsultants to meet model deliverable requirements.

Applicants should have extensive CADD/BIM experience on transit or multimodal projects and knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley tools, with a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM for transit/m multimodal projects.
• Experience with Autodesk BIM tools and Bentley where required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a federated model.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
