Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to manage multi-disciplinary BIM models for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate across architecture, structures, roadway design, and MEP, ensuring federated, clash‑checked deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires extensive experience with Autodesk tools (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and the ability to mentor staff across offices while upholding client standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in basic CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, roadway design, and MEP in a federated, clash-checked model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows per Autodesk/Bentley guidelines.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for final drawings.
• Verify model integrity, manage health/versioning, and ensure interoperability across Autodesk tools.
