Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline model coordination on transit and multimodal projects in the United States. The role involves integrating architectural, structural, and MEP models into federated deliverables and ensuring clash-free coordination across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has extensive BIM software proficiency (Autodesk) and a strong track record mentoring staff while maintaining QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination of intelligent models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model requirements.
