Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate design models across architecture, structures, roadway, and MEP into a federated, clash-checked deliverable.

You'll establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, mentor production staff, and ensure model health and interoperability across Autodesk tools. Domestic travel may be required to support offices and projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically as required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination & clash detection using Navisworks.
• Establishes and enforces CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentors production staff across offices to build capability.
• Performs model health checks and ensures interoperability across Autodesk toolset.
