CLS Living is seeking a hands-on General Manager to guide a student housing community through a major transformation and repositioning. You will lead leasing and marketing initiatives, strengthen university relationships, and drive operational excellence as renovations near completion.

The role emphasizes financial acumen, team development, and a proactive approach to long-term asset strategy, with ownership and regional leadership involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in multifamily housing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Entrata experience preferred.
• Knowledge of market rate and LIHTC programs; Fair Housing and EEO laws.
• Strong skills in staff recruitment, development, financial management, and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the property through final renovation and ongoing repositioning.
• Drive leasing performance and marketing strategy.
• Build university and community partnerships.
• Oversee operations, capital planning and preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with ownership and regional leadership.
• Develop and coach the property team.
