Job summary

CLS Living is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a community team with a customer-centric mindset. You will mentor staff, manage resident experiences, and coordinate services to meet quality standards across operations, finance, and sales targets.

You will drive occupancy, monitor collections, and support training and development while ensuring compliance with policies and local regulations. This role emphasizes collaboration and growth within CLS Living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 1 year in student/multi-family housing industry.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel and Entrata.
• Knowledge of market rate, LIHTC and Fair Housing/EEO laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Community by setting a Service Excellence standard and inspiring the teams to achieve it.
• Assist Manager with training, coaching, development and leadership of exceptional team members.
• Coordinate, schedule, and supervise activities of all contracted services (pest control, landscaping, snow removal, turn contracts, etc.).
• Deliver notices and evictions in compliance with policy and local ordinances; manage resident accounts and utility billing.
• Oversee facilities safety, curb appeal, maintenance, and vendor communications to ensure high satisfaction.
