Job summary

EY US in government and infrastructure seeks a Transformation Execution Staff (technical writer) to deliver polished policy documents and SOPs for federal, state, local and education programs.

You will draft, edit and format briefing decks and executive correspondence, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring DHS writing standards and quality control. Willingness to travel and obtain required security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, engineering or a related business field plus at least two years of consulting or relevant industry experience.
• At least one year of experience leading engagement teams.
• Experience with process improvement, stakeholder engagement, performance metrics, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to and leading collaborative teams across dynamic client engagements.
• Collecting and analyzing data to recommend organizational, process and technology improvements.
• Delivering high-quality program management and documentation support to government clients.
• Building trusted relationships across client, stakeholder and EY teams.
• Coaching and developing professionals while supporting broader talent initiatives.
• Drafting, editing and formatting policies, directives, SOPs and implementation guidance.
• Developing briefing decks, talking points and executive correspondence for leadership review.
• Preparing issue papers, decision memoranda and white papers to support division objectives.
