Union County College seeks a Transfer Transition Generalist to support graduates and prospective graduates as they move to four-year institutions. The role manages a caseload, conducts targeted outreach, and navigates transfer barriers.

Collaborating with internal and external partners, the Generalist leads selective transfer opportunities, tracks outcomes, and contributes to program improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in student services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in student services, academic advising, transfer services, student success, alumni engagement, or a related area serving diverse college student populations.
• Experience collecting, organizing, tracking, and reporting student outcome data.
• Community college experience.

Responsibilities

• Advises and monitors an assigned caseload of prospective graduates and graduates, addressing transfer and post-completion barriers.
• Conducts targeted multi-channel outreach and follow-up with prospective graduates and graduates.
• Develops tracking mechanisms to measure student engagement, transfer enrollment, persistence, barriers, interventions, referrals, and outcomes; analyzes trends and prepares reports.
• Serves as operational lead for designated selective transfer, scholarship, and partnership opportunities.
• Develops and maintains relationships with four-year institutions and partner organizations; tracks participation and outcomes.
• Assists with transfer-transition workshops, webinars, partner events, and information sessions.
• Develops and maintains student-facing information related to post-completion success.
• Identifies opportunities for innovation and improvements to processes and outreach strategies.
