Job summary

Central Community College in Columbus is seeking an Academic Transfer Specialist to provide comprehensive academic advising for students planning to transfer to four-year colleges. You will develop transfer plans, evaluate programs, and coordinate articulation agreements with partner institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
• Provide comprehensive academic advising to prospective, new, and current students planning to transfer to a 4-year college.
• Advise on articulation agreements and transfer options with partner institutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the transfer specialist advising faculty advisors on transferable course plans.
• Collaborate with VP of Innovation and Instruction and deans on transfer agreements and degree plans.
• Coordinate transfer resources and orientation activities for new students.
• Research and evaluate transfer programs and maintain transfer information with partner colleges.
• Assist diverse student populations including international students with transfer planning and admissions.
