Job summary

Alto is seeking a Training Lead to drive daily operational excellence in Los Angeles, leading a frontline training team and on-site onboarding. You will coach 15-17 trainers, respond to escalations, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.

The role is in-person in Los Angeles, with responsibilities spanning staffing, scheduling, and program delivery. A strong emphasis on coaching, budget adherence, and process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing a team of ten or more, with direct people-management responsibilities.
• Strong scheduling and resource-allocation judgment within fixed budget constraints.
• Clear communication across trainers, candidates, HR, and leadership.
• Comfort with data and reporting, using metrics to spot trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 15-17 trainers, driving performance, professional development, coaching, and career growth.
• Oversee all employee relations for the in-market training team; be the primary contact for workplace concerns, policy enforcement, and conflict resolution.
• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle for in-market trainers: hiring, onboarding, and offboarding; balance coverage to meet budgetary guidelines.
• Elevate candidate and trainer experience across on-the-ground training processes; oversee Driving Assessments site setup and staffing; ensure consistency in evaluation decisions.
