Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a Training Associate in Los Angeles to elevate barista and shift-lead training from onboarding to accreditation. You will coach in-store teams, collaborate with Operations, and drive consistent quality across markets.

You will lead orientations, seasonal trainings, new-store openings, and coffee education while supporting cross-functional projects to ensure a five-star barista experience and ongoing program improvements.

Qualifications

2+ years barista and training experience.
Willingness to travel regularly between LA stores.
Mastery of time management and prioritization.
Expert milk steaming for latte textures.
Ability to pour hearts, tulips, and rosettas with precision.

Responsibilities

Oversee and track barista training journeys and partner with ops for a positive trainee experience.
Lead in-store training, large group sessions, and final barista assessments.
Provide regional training support during new product launches and initiatives.
Develop reporting tools to elevate store performance and quality.
Build deep knowledge of products/recipes to ensure adherence.
