Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal government project implementing a customized construction management system. You will conduct virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, construction personnel, leadership, and contractors, ensuring participants gain the knowledge and skills to use the new platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3 years of related experience; travel may be extensive.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and in-person environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans, course materials and guidelines.
• Answer participant questions and provide functional guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom engagement and manage participants effectively.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team to Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with staff at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
