Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal government client’s construction management system implementation. You will run virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, construction staff, leadership and contractors, ensuring users gain system knowledge.

Travel is extensive, with responsibility across multiple locations. A bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience are required; professional training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and classroom management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a geographically dispersed training team.
• Familiarity with training best practices and change management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption efforts during CMP deployment activities.
