ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations. You will build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy, partnering across the organization to create engaging programs that empower employees with the knowledge and skills to excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
Ability to translate complex processes and systems into clear, effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation for employee success.
Partner with leaders and SMEs to translate processes into effective learning solutions.
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
Establish onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
Coordinate training schedules, communications, and events across the organization.
Maintain training content in the LMS and track participation and effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across US ELSE Services.
