Job summary

ABB's US ELSE Commercial Operations seeks a Training & Capability Development Specialist to build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that supports business transformation, process adoption, and workforce development. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in L&D, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear learning experiences and materials.
• Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and SOPs.
• Partner with leaders and SMEs to translate processes into learning solutions.
• Develop onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
• Coordinate training schedules and events; maintain LMS content.
• Monitor participation, compliance, and effectiveness using metrics.
