Job summary

ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations. You will build a comprehensive learning strategy, partner with leaders and SMEs, and design engaging programs to enable transformation and workforce development.

You will create SOPs, onboarding, and competency pathways, then manage content in the LMS and measure impact using performance metrics. This role drives capability and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
• Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
• Ability to translate complex processes and systems into clear, effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation.
