ABB Inc. is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations to build and drive a comprehensive learning strategy supporting transformation and workforce development.

You will partner across the organization to create engaging learning experiences and development programs that equip employees with knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel. This role strengthens capability and improves business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
• Strong skills in facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
• Ability to translate complex processes and systems into clear, effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation.
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate processes and systems into learning solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
• Establish onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
• Coordinate training schedules, communications, and learning events across the organization.
• Maintain training content and resources within the LMS.
• Monitor training participation, compliance, and effectiveness using metrics.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across US ELSE Services.
