Job summary

ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations. You will build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that supports transformation, process adoption, and workforce development.

You will partner across the organization to create engaging learning experiences and programs that equip employees to excel. Your responsibilities include designing multi-modal programs, creating materials, SOPs, and onboarding frameworks, and ensuring LMS alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
• Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation.
• Partner with leaders to translate processes into learning solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting docs.
• Establish onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
• Coordinate training schedules and events across the organization.
• Maintain training content in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Monitor participation, compliance, and effectiveness with metrics.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning across US ELSE Services.
