Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet running smoothly by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, and ensuring timely repairs. You will work within a safety-focused, team-oriented environment on various rolling stock and associated equipment.

The role requires reading precision instruments, welding as needed, and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a maintenance technician with truck repair/related equipment.
• Ability to read precision instruments and perform diagnostics.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain fleet equipment safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform timely repairs.
• Read and interpret precision instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Weld and repair components as required and assist with training when offered.
