Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to help keep our fleet running safely and reliably. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure timely repairs to trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent education.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues on trucks and trailers.
• Ability to read precision instruments and electronic diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC, OSHA rules & regs.
• Willingness to participate in company training.

Responsibilities

• Repair company equipment safely and timely including preventative maintenance and diagnostics.
• Build, rebuild and repair parts for equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other failures in trucks and related equipment.
• Read precision instruments and perform diagnostic testing and measurements.
• Apply knowledge of regulatory rules and assist with documentation.
