Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet safe and reliable. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and complete timely repairs on company equipment.

The role emphasizes adherence to DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA regulations and requires a hands‑on problem solver. You will work in a team environment, read diagnostic instruments, and sometimes weld parts to ensure continuous operations and top‑tier service.

Formación

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience working as a maintenance technician or equivalent education.
• Experience with truck repair, body and frame repair.
• Must provide own tools to perform job duties.
• Ability to complete required paperwork and records.
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (when required).
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Build, rebuild and repair all parts of company equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical or other breakdowns in vehicles.
• Read precision instruments like micrometers and meters.
• Troubleshoot and analyze failures in truck/trailer components.
• Welding as needed for truck repairs.
