Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Savannah, GA is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience. Shift is Monday–Friday 8am–4pm.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.50 per hour, with skill-based pay reviews every 6 months. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers, tank service, suspension work, and air brake system maintenance.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3–5 years of tank trailer repair experience.
• Shift: Monday–Friday 8am–4pm at Savannah, GA location.
• Ability to diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical/electrical systems on tank trailers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, or other systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair tasks.
• Install/repair trailer suspension components.
• Check and repair air brake systems and related components.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience at our Savannah, GA location!

Shift/Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.50 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
