Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience for our Jacksonville, FL location. Shift hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, and the pay range is $16.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Candidates should have experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical or other tank trailer systems, including air brakes. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and safety program support.

Formación

• DOT inspection certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and inspect tank trailers and related systems to DOT HM183 standards.
• Diagnose failures in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems and perform repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and operate in a team environment.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience for our Jacksonville, FL location!

Shift Hours:Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Range: $16.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
